Freedom of Movement

Feeling that your joints and muscles are stiff produces less freedom of movement in our body. We don’t stretch enough and so our muscles and joints don’t work to the extent that they should. With safety in mind, you could try putting something that you need to use every day onto a high shelf. That means you have to stretch each time you need to get it or to put it away. You can do a similar thing by putting your shoes under the bed, where you have to stretch to reach them. But do make sure that you do not get yourself into a situation where you can lose your balance and fall.

Those who do yoga say they have increased freedom of movement because of it. The regular practice of stretching your body will loosen the joints and muscles and reduce pain and inflammation. It seems a really good reason to stretch every day!

Doing the Ageless Grace® exercise tools – three per day for a total of ten minutes – will help improve your freedom of movement. There are also specific exercise tools that work to improve your freedom of movement.

Spinal Flexibility – we need to keep moving all parts of our spine to maintain or improve our spinal health and function
