Most of us worry or suffer anxiety. Perhaps we fear for the future or what might happen. Stress affects our wellbeing and we all deal with it differently. As we get older there are lots of psychological, bodily and behavioral reasons that we can feel stress. Perhaps there is less contact with the family or financial concerns. Retiring or managing your time can trigger stress.
Stress may be a factor in some conditions, such as
- High blood pressure
- Digestive issues
Managing our time for relaxation will help. Make time for some hobbies or activities. Plan meals with loved ones or friends so that you can share some of the good things that have happened to you or to communicate your concerns.
Doing Ageless Grace® will help you relax. Working your body in an organic way, doing movements in your chair that you may have learned as a child; enjoying the music that belonged to your era. Or if you are in a class, laughing with others as you remember times past. As well, there are movements that can specifically help you relax.
