Karen Jacobsen

Ageless Grace Educator

Thank you for allowing me to share a little bit about myself.  People would describe me as an adventurous, free spirited, passionate person who makes the most of every day, always willing to try new things and experience life to the full. My purpose is to make a difference in the lives of others wherever I can, working closely with people on a deeper level to encourage positive and lifelong change.

I’m a big believer in ongoing learning and self development ‘If we continue to learn we continue to grow” so it must start with me.

I grew up in Melbourne, spent nearly 20 years living in Brisbane, and travel regularly between the two states, as family and friends mean the world to me. I’ve been blessed with 3 daughters and 4 grandsons to date.’

I have my own business called Eternal Growth and Wellness, providing Holistic Life Coaching, Healing Touch Indian Head Massage, Meditation and Alternative Therapies.  I also work a couple of days assisting with Leisure and Health activities and offer Diversional Therapy in Aged Care Settings, so I’m excited to add Movement Education Practices to my list of tools to help others enjoy a better quality of life.

Having worked with Low and High Care Dementia residents, I can appreciate the value and benefit of introducing music and fun to my exercise programmes and I have witnessed first-hand the happiness and joy that lights up someone’s spirit with song and dance music. That’s why I resonated with Ageless Grace, because it makes perfect sense to me.

With seeing so many of my friend’s family members being affected in some way by Alzheimer’s, it’s vital that we find ways to help people who are struggling with challenging situations and behaviours and implement positive and inspiring programmes like Ageless Grace that can make a real difference.

The founder Denise Medved has a vision to “Change the Model of Ageing in the World”. Establishing a regular practice and commitment for ourselves to keep fit and holistically happy, that continues into our senior years, certainly helps to encourage others to share and experience the benefits of the Ageless Grace programme.

Keeping that fun-loving child’s play alive helps people to stay young and healthy at heart.

I look forward to sharing a creative and fun loving Ageless Grace Fitness Class with you soon.

Hi Karen. Hope you’re well. Do you run any group classes in Melbourne either after hours or on the weekends? I am over 60, still work during the day and in very good health (not obese; do not take any medication). Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you. Maria

    • Hello Maria,
I have forwarded your message onto Karen. I hope you will hear from her soon,
      Best wishes
